Manawa is a highly experienced sustainability consultant and mechanical engineer with over 15 years of international experience in environmentally sustainable design, building optimisation, and green building certification. Holding a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa, his career has spanned major projects across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Australia — embedding sustainability principles across both design and construction phases.

Manawa hold multiple accreditations as a Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP), NABERS Accredited Professional, LEED AP (BD+C), Green Mark Accredited Professional, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practitioner. Internationally, Manawa has led multidisciplinary ESD teams on complex, high-performance projects, delivering integrated solutions that align environmental goals with operational efficiency and long-term value.
