Full Circle has been commissioned to provide Section J compliance and mechanical services advice for the extension and modification of the existing Yagan Square building in Perth City.

The project includes a single building, comprising three occupied levels consisting of bars, restaurant and function levels over its entirety. Refurbishment includes the proposed new rooftop bar at level 3 and façade extension of restaurant at mezzanine level. The rooftop bar at level 3 has been briefed to be an unconditioned space, on account of an operable open rooftop, and is therefore exempt from Section J requirements. Yegan Square has also gone well beyond the norm, with a wide range of sustainable attributes to achieve a 5-Star Green Star Design Certification.

Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Perth, Western Australia has achieved a 4 Star Green Star Design and As Built rating from the Green Building Council of Australia and is a shining example of environmental sustainability in retail buildings across the country. Constructed under Multiplex, the design has incorporated solar panels that generate electricity, energy management system, low-flow toilets, waterless urinals, rainwater harvesting systems, sustainable materials and construction practices, promotion of active transport like ample parking for bicycles and public transport options nearby, making it one of the most environmentally sustainable shopping centres in the country.

Designed by Cox Architecture and Taylor Robinson, the Raine Square redevelopment in Murray Street in Perth’s CBD has significantly transformed the existing retail and hotel complex into a prime building in the CBD, with construction underway, the use of natural light, promotion of active transport and the use of sustainable and high recycled content materials have rendered this project a vibrant and lively addition for the community to enjoy.

With the inclusion of EV charging bays, external cladding along the walls, curtain walling and various other landscaping elements make this project a sustainable beacon for various government centred projects. The desired 5 Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia will be a testament to the commitment of the project team to deliver a sustainable, community-oriented development that will be an asset to the city of Perth for many years to come. The four-storey structure is located adjacent to the Parliament House and features 2 basement levels which makes it an ideal location for people working in this area.

Westralia Square is one of Perth’s most environmentally friendly buildings consisting of a 12-storey office tower, incorporating timber floor plates into its steel structure and its excellent waste management strategies during construction to significantly reduce its carbon footprint. The building is one of the first office towers in WA to be delivered under the NCC 2019 codes and has been designed to achieve a 5 Star NABERS and 5-Star Green Star rating. The premium office tower has been built by Built with design methodology and construction advice offered by Hera, under the GDI property group.
